One photo ID and one proof of address cover most checks. The payment proof shows that the card or e-wallet belongs to you, and it matters most when you want to withdraw to it. Source-of-funds documents only come into play for larger sums, when the casino usually asks how the deposits were financed: recent payslips or a bank statement are the normal answer.
For proof of address in Ireland, a statement downloaded from AIB, Bank of Ireland or PTSB online banking works well, as does an electricity, gas or broadband bill. Official letters from a government body often count too. The document must show your full name and the same address you typed at sign-up.

The terms do not promise a deadline, so we will not invent one. In practice clear, complete files are usually reviewed within a working day or so, and uploads sent late on a Friday can wait for the next working day. What really slows a check down is a file that has to be sent twice, and the next two sections are about avoiding exactly that.
A declined document is not a closed door. Nearly every rejection comes down to one file that the reviewer could not read or match, and it is fixed on the same account in a few minutes.
Read the reason first
The status next to the file, or a message in your account, usually says what was wrong: blurry, cropped, expired or not matching. Fix that exact point rather than sending a different document at random.
Fix the file, not the account
SpinAway allows one account per person. Opening a second one to start fresh breaks the terms, and a duplicate can be closed, so always re-upload on the account you already have.
Send one clean file per slot
Upload the whole page as a sharp photo or an original PDF. Screenshots of screenshots, collages and edited images are the files reviewers send back most often.
Ask live chat what is missing
Live chat can see the reviewer's note and tell you in plain words what they need. It is the fastest way to learn whether a new photo will do or a different document is required.
Give it a working day
Uploading the same file three times in an hour does not move it up the queue. After a fresh upload, wait for the status to change before you try anything else.
Keep a simple record
Note the date of each upload and save the chat transcript. If the check drags on, a short, dated summary gets a clear answer from the help centre much faster.

Common problems with SpinAway documents
These six situations cover most of the SpinAway KYC questions we hear from Irish players, with the fix for each.
- Photo is blurry or cropped
- Retake it in daylight with the flash off, the document flat and all four corners in the frame. Glare over the photo or the date of birth is enough for a decline.
- Address does not match
- The bill must show the address on your account, down to the apartment number and Eircode where the bill has one. Update the account address through live chat before you send new proof.
- Bill is too old
- Anything older than three months is usually refused. Download the latest e-statement or bill from your online account instead of hunting for paper copies.
- Name spelled differently
- A fada, the Irish form of a surname or a married name can differ from what you typed at sign-up. Tell live chat, and if asked, add a document that links both versions, such as a marriage certificate.
- ID has expired
- An expired passport or licence is not accepted even if the photo is recent. Use another valid ID, for example your driving licence while the passport is being renewed.
- Card has no printed number
- Many newer debit cards show the number only in the banking app. A screenshot of the card details screen with your name and the middle digits masked is the usual workaround.
If none of these fits, the answer is almost always in the reviewer's note. Ask live chat for it, fix that one point and upload again on the same account. Checks for larger sums can add a source-of-funds request, which is routine and handled with payslips or bank statements.

Send the files and watch the status
Submit each file in its own slot and keep an eye on the label next to it. In review means a person is checking it; if a file is declined, the reason is normally shown on screen or explained in live chat.

Once every line shows approved, go to the cashier and request the payout, where possible to the same method you deposited with. The processing time for each method is shown in the cashier.
